Visit facebook.com and login

First we will check to see if your mobile contacts are being sent to Facebook. Go to the upper-right hand corner and click "Account" and select "Edit Friends".

Click the "Contacts" link.

If your settings allow your mobile contact information to be sent to your phone, then you may see a list of your mobile contacts along with the names and cell phone numbers displayed.

Note : If so, proceed to the next step, if not then stop here.

Click the "remove all of your imported contacts" link on the right hand side of the page.

Note : This layout of this page and the link may change. A link to the removal url is located in the "Objective/info" section on this page above.

Click the "remove" button.

Note : If you have friends that have elected to have their mobile numbers shown, then the mobile numbers of those friends will continue to show.

You should see a message.

You may also need to turn off the feature on your facebook mobile application or else they will be imported again. For the Android application click and read the "Stop exporting your mobile contacts to facebook" guide from the list of guides at the top of this page.

You should receive a notification from Facebook, letting you know that the imported contacts have been removed.
