Objective / Info: Search for and ebook in the Google ebookstore, then download and read that ebook using your computers web browser. Link to the ebbok store - books.google.com

Type http://books.google.com/ebooks into your web browser. Sign into your Google account. If you do not have a Google account you will need to create one.
  Note : Most common web browsers are supported by the Google ebookstore

Click the "Read the book" ebook button.

The ebook should open and you can begin reading. Click the table of contents button to the left to view the contents of the ebook. Select a chapter and click it to jump to that chapter.
  Note : Click the x button in the upper right hand corner to close the contents.

The ebook should open and you can begin reading. Click the arrow pointing to the right on the right hand side of the page to goto the next page.

You can also move through entire chapters by rolling your mouse over the horizontal bar on the bottom of the page and clicking a page.

To search for specific content in the ebook, click the search button on the left side of the page and type in the word or phrase you are searching for.

The results of the search should be returned in the same box.

  Note : Click the x in the upper right hand corner to close the search and return to the ebook.

When you are finished reading the book, click the "Back to My Google eBooks" button or close the browser.
  Note : The ebook should remain available in your account when you return.

Click the Google Icon to return to the ebooks store or click another title to read a different ebook.

This task should now be complete. If not, review and repeat the steps as needed. Submit any questions using the section at the bottom of this page.
