Objective / Info: Learn how to link to a specific time in a YouTube video. Theses steps only work on YouTube.com and not embedded videos on other sites.

Visit youtube at www.youtube.com.

Select the video that contains a specific point that you want to share.

Start the video and let it play until it reaches the point in the timeline that you want to share then right click in the timeline.
  Note : You need to have the video playing in order to use this feature.

Select the "Copy video url at current time" option, then left click.

Right click and paste the url into an email, facebook, twitter or any other method that you would generally paste the url for a youtube video.

  Note :Your link should look like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCp40z3FGdY&feature=player_detailpage#t=2988s
